Industrial Chic for a Nottingham Commercial Showroom

The Brief
The Wiemann Northern showroom is located in Long Eaton at Harrington Mill. The client advised us that the current layout isn’t working and lacked overall appeal. Even though the showroom is based around B2B customers, the client wanted to create a more inviting space to showcase the products which are primarily wardrobes and bedroom furniture and also hold meetings.
D&R Design
The bare bones of an interesting space were there - the industrial fittings, brickwork, oversized arched windows and high ceilings allowed us to concept a space that really played into these design features, work with the basics and warm up the look. We wanted to create a showroom that customers could visualise themselves in while giving it a cosier look and feel. It was also important to create different zones i.e. dining / welcome / meeting space and bedroom so that there were dedicated areas providing multi purpose functionality.
Working with local tradesmen in Nottingham, we built, decorated, organised and styled the space to give a more visually appealing environment overall.
