The Brief
Transform a Victorian home living room into a practical yet characterful adult space, with bespoke cabinetry and warming colour palette.
D&R Design
To client wanted to redesign this north facing living room which would be used primarily as an adult space, away from the clutter of toys and play items from their two young children. We blended the existing traditional features, with a warming more bold and contemporary palette, opting to colour drench the skirtings and coving to match the walls and give the illusion of more space to the narrow room. The room was designed to be stylish and functional, featuring more durable flooring, built in arched alcoves and a balance of comfort and style through furnishings and finishes.
