Practically Stylish, Classic and Fun Boys Gaming Play Room

The Brief
The client had a beautiful kitchen and dining space, which opened onto a playroom. Now their boys are older, the existing playroom needed updating to become more of a gaming space that flowed with the open plan kitchen / dining room and could be tidied away when entertaining.
D&R Design
Our solution was to create a bespoke built-in wall unit in keeping with the overall style of the house that had multiple areas for storage, pull outs and space for a wall mounted TV, enclosing everything the boys would need in one space. We paired this with modular seating that was stylish and practical and a recommendation to colour drench the playroom in a mid green tone to help define the spaces in the open plan living area. This also complimented the colours in the kitchen / dining while creating interest for the boys.
